Description
Leopard Pattern Marble features a dark, moody base of deep charcoal, dark grey, and muted greenish-grey tones, scattered with irregular patches of beige, pale grey, and off-white. Its distinctive leopard-like camouflage pattern creates an earthy, natural appearance with a soft, matte look and subtle crystalline sparkles.
Texture & Structure
The stone has a mottled, cloudy pattern with irregularly distributed mineral patches and naturally contrasting color zones. Its texture ranges from fine to medium-grained, with subtle crystalline inclusions that add visual depth. Veining is generally less prominent than the scattered, leopard-like markings. Surface finishes include honed, polished, brushed, and leathered.
Chemical & Mineralogical Composition
The exact mineral composition depends on the individual quarry layer and stone variation. The dark background may be associated with carbonate minerals and darker mineral inclusions, while lighter patches may contain calcite, dolomite, or other minerals.
Usage
Suitable for interior flooring, wall cladding, feature walls, bathroom vanities, decorative countertops, fireplace surrounds, reception desks, furniture tops, and bespoke architectural applications. Its distinctive dark, spotted pattern is particularly suitable for statement interiors and contemporary design projects.
Usage & Maintenance
Seal the surface with a suitable penetrating stone sealer, particularly in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas exposed to moisture or staining. Clean regularly with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid acidic cleaners, abrasive pads, and strong chemicals. Wipe spills promptly, especially oils and acidic liquids. For flooring and countertops, select an appropriate finish and confirm the stone's suitability for the intended application before installation.
